This is how I like to cook duck breast:
Wash duck breast in cool water. Let soak in saltwater for an hour or so (this will brine the meat and make it extra juicy).
Slice the duck breast into ½ to ¾ wide strips.
Season strips with Big Nasty Pork Seasoning (Available here soon!).
Melt real butter in a skillet on medium to low heat.
Saute breast strips in the butter for about 1 minute on each side. Keep and eye on them and don’t over cook them. You should be able to cut them with a fork.
Enjoy with your favorite sides!
Another way I like to prepare duck breast is to soak them in milk for 15 minutes then bread and fry them just like a chicken fried steak. Or you can soak the breast in milk for 15 minutes then place on a grill and sprinkle with some season salt or your favorite Cajun spice. Like you would do shrimp.
It doesn’t get much better than this!
